WIPER WILL NOT SHUT OFF DELAY MODULE P/N 14047138

CONDITION 1 FOR A CONDITION OF NO WIPER MOTION WITH THE SWITCH IN THE DELAY POSITION, CHECK FOR PROPER GROUNDING OF THE BLACK WIRE FROM THE DELAY MODULE. CONDITION 2 THE FOLLOWING IS A REVISION TO "CONDITION 6 - WIPER WILL NOT SHUT OFF" OF THE DIAGNOSTIC CHART FIGURE 2-14 (PAGE 2-8) IN THE BODY SECTION OF THE 1982 CIMARRON SERVICE MANUAL. THIS REVISION PROVIDES A MEANS OF TESTING THE DELAY MODULE. WHEN USING THIS DIAGNOSTIC CHART OR ANY OF THE OTHER WINDSHIELD WIPER DIAGNOSTIC CHARTS IN THE MANUAL, REFER TO FIGURE 2-8 (PAGE 2-4) FOR A DESCRIPTION OF THE TERMINAL NUMBER LOCATIONS ON THE WIPER MOTOR. IF DELAY MODULE REPLACEMENT IS REQUIRED, A NEW MODULE, PART NUMBER 14047138, SHOULD BE USED. THIS NEW MODULE SUPERSEDES PART NUMBER 14032093, CURRENTLY LISTED IN THE GMWDD PARTS CATALOGUES. ** SEE CHART IN BULLETIN **
