WIPERS REMAIN ON CONTINUOUSLY PULSE WIPE MODULE CHANGE

Condition:

---------- Wipers remain on continuously and cannot be shut off, except when turning ignition off.

Cause:

------ Wiper blades left parked high on the windshield can become stuck by ice and/or snow. When the ignition is turned from off to crank position, a transient voltage spike from the wiper motor can damage the pulse wiper module.

Correction:

----------- Use Part Number 10036435 to replace the existing module. Be sure the ground wire screw is secured. Torque to 3.0-4.6 Nm (2-3 lb. ft.).
