Listed below are the descriptions of the labor operations to be used with the Driveability Diagnosis notebook. The labor operations previously used for the internal and external carburetor adjsutments (J5290, J5295, J5300, J5305, J5306, J5309, and J5050) should not be used in conjunction with any of the repair procedures in the Driveability Diagnosis notebook.
These changes were made to encourage using the Driveability Diagnosis notebook format for solving driveability related conditions on 1980 and later vehicles. LABOR TIME DESCRIPTION OPERATION ALLOWANCE
Cold Driveability Procedure: Dualjet - Quadrajet T3103 .8 Hr. Varajet T3103 .9 Hr.
ALCL Procedure T3104 .4 Hr.
*Warm Driveability Procedure: Dualjet - Quadraiet T3105 1.5 Hr. Varajet T3105 .9 Hr.
*Add .8 hr. if necessary to adjust idle mixture needle screws.
