ENGINE DETONATION LIGHT THROT 1980-81 3.8L & 4.IL V6

1980-81 3.8L AND 4.1L V-6 ENGINES-DETONATION ON LIGHT THROTTLE ENGINE DETONATION ON LIGHT THROTTLE ON V-6 ENGINES MAY BE CAUSED BY THE EST HARNESS BEING ROUTED TOO CLOSE TO A SPARK PLUG WIRE. THE DETONATION CONDITION CAN BE CORRECTED BY MAKING SURE THERE IS AT LEAST 1" OF CLEARANCE BETWEEN THE EST HARNESS AND THE PLUG WIRES.
