Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1223667 Size: SH
  1. Remove the floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Disconnect the select and shift control cable. Refer to Shift Control Cable Replacement .
  3. Remove the gear shift control lever bolts (1) and assembly (2).
  4. Remove the gear shift lever sensor connector, if equipped with auto clutch.

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  1. Install the gear shift control lever assembly and bolts (1).

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 4-7 N·m (35-62 lb in).

  2. Adjust the select cables. Refer to Shift Control Cable Replacement .
  3. Connect the select and shift control cable. Refer to Shift Control Cable Replacement .
  4. Install the floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
