Removal Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Fuel Pressure Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1225049 Size: SH
  1. Relieve the fuel system pressure. Refer to Fuel Pump Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the inlet/outlet fuel lines by pushing the line connector lock and pulling off the hose of the fuel filter tube (1).
  3. Remove the screw from the retaining clamp.

  4. Remove the fuel filter (1).

Installation Procedure

    Notice: Refer to Methanol Fuel Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1225070 Size: SH
  1. Install the new fuel filter into the retaining clamp. Note the flow direction.
  2. Connect the inlet/outlet lines. Secure the lines with the connector lock.
  3. Install the fuel pump.
  4. Perform a leak test of the fuel filter.
