Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1223401 Size: SH
  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Remove the instrument panel (I/P) outer trim cover from the I/P. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  3. Remove the screws (1) from the audio system.
  4. Disconnect the electrical connector and the antenna cable (2).
  5. Remove the audio system (3) from the I/P.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1223402 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector and the antenna cable.
  2. Install the audio system with the screws.
  3. Install the I/P outer trim cover. Refer to Instrument Panel Outer Trim Cover Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
  4. Connect the negative battery cable.
