DEFINITION: The status of the security indicator never changes and the security indicator is ON solid or always flashing.

1. Turn OFF the ignition.
2. Disconnect the keyless entry module and the immobilizer module.
3. Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.

Is the security indicator ON?

Go to Step 3

Go to Step 4

Repair the security indicator control circuit for a short to voltage. Refer to Wiring Repairs .

Did you complete the repair?

Go to Step 5

Replace the faulty module.

Did you complete the replacement?

Operate the system in order to verify the repair.
