Removal Procedure

    Caution: Refer to Battery Disconnect Caution in the Preface section.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
  2. Remove the steering column covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 1631247 Size: SH
  3. Disconnect the turn signal switch by pushing the tabs (1) on the switch housing.
  4. Disconnect the connectors (2).
  5. Remove the turn signal switch.

    6. Object Number: 1631249 Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the wiper switch by pushing tabs (1) on the switch housing.
  7. Disconnect the connectors (2).
  8. Remove the wiper switch.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1631264 Size: SH
  1. Install the wiper switch.
  2. Connect the connectors.

    3. Object Number: 1631278 Size: SH
  3. Install the turn signal switch.
  4. Connect the connectors.
  5. Install the steering column covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers Replacement .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
