  1. Connect the passenger pretensioner yellow 2-way connector (3) located under the front passenger seat.
  2. Install the connector position assurance (CPA) to the passenger pretensioner yellow 2-way connector (3).
  3. Connect the passenger side air bag yellow 2-way connector (4) located under the front passenger seat.
  4. Install the connector position assurance (CPA) to the passenger side air bag yellow 2-way connector (4).

  6. Connect the driver pretensioner yellow 2-way connector (3) located under the driver seat.
  7. Install the connector position assurance (CPA) to the driver pretensioner yellow 2-way connector (3).
  8. Connect the driver side air bag yellow 2-way connector (4) located under the driver seat.
  9. Install the connector position assurance (CPA) to the driver side air bag yellow 2-way connector (4).

  11. Connect the passenger frontal air bag yellow 2-way connector (1) located behind the RH insulator panel.
  12. Install the connector position assurance (CPA) (2) to the passenger frontal air bag yellow 2-way connector (1).
  13. Install the RH insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.

  14. Object Number: 262986  Size: SH
  15. Connect the driver frontal air bag yellow 2-way connector (2) located at the base of the steering column.
  16. Install the connector position assurance (CPA) (3) to the driver frontal air bag yellow 2-way connector (2).
  17. Install the LH insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
  18. Install the SIR Fuse to the IP fuse block.
  19. Staying well away from both airbags, turn the ignition switch to the RUN position.
  20. 16.1. The AIR BAG warning lamp will flash seven times.
    16.2. The AIR BAG warning lamp will then turn OFF.
  21. Perform the SIR Diagnostic System Check if the AIR BAG warning lamp does not operate as described.
