- Connect the passenger
pretensioner yellow 2-way connector (3) located under the front passenger
seat.
- Install the connector position assurance (CPA) to the passenger
pretensioner yellow 2-way connector (3).
- Connect the passenger side air bag yellow 2-way connector (4)
located under the front passenger seat.
- Install the connector position assurance (CPA) to the passenger
side air bag yellow 2-way connector (4).
- Connect the driver pretensioner
yellow 2-way connector (3) located under the driver seat.
- Install the connector position assurance (CPA) to the driver pretensioner
yellow 2-way connector (3).
- Connect the driver side air bag yellow 2-way connector (4) located
under the driver seat.
- Install the connector position assurance (CPA) to the driver side
air bag yellow 2-way connector (4).
- Connect the passenger
frontal air bag yellow 2-way connector (1) located behind the RH insulator
panel.
- Install the connector position assurance (CPA) (2) to the passenger
frontal air bag yellow 2-way connector (1).
- Install the RH insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel
Replacement - Right
Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Right Side
in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
- Connect the driver frontal
air bag yellow 2-way connector (2) located at the base of the steering column.
- Install the connector position assurance (CPA) (3) to the driver
frontal air bag yellow 2-way connector (2).
- Install the LH insulator panel. Refer to Closeout/Insulator Panel
Replacement - Left
Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side
in Instrument Panel, Gauges and Console.
- Install the SIR Fuse to the IP fuse block.
- Staying well away from both airbags, turn the ignition switch
to the RUN position.
| 16.1. | The AIR BAG warning lamp will flash seven times. |
| 16.2. | The AIR BAG warning lamp will then turn OFF. |
- Perform the SIR Diagnostic System Check if the AIR BAG warning
lamp does not operate as described.
