The PASS-Key® III (PK3) module has a connection to the vehicle ALDL connector through CKT 1807. This Class 2 data line is provided only for the purpose of communicating to an off board scan tool. No normal mode communication occurs between the PK3 module and the PCM on the Class 2 data circuit.
