Removal Procedure
- Recline the seat back to a full upright position.
- Remove the front seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement .
- Unhook the J retainer from the bottom edge of the seat back trim cover.
- Reach underneath the trim cover.
- Release the C-clip from the armrest pivot shaft while pushing in on the armrest.
- Remove the armrest from the seat.
Installation Procedure
- Install the armrest to the seat.
- Firmly press inward on the armrest in order to seat the C-clip onto the armrest pivot shaft.
- Install the J retainer at the bottom edge of the seat back trim cover.
- Install the front seat. Refer to Bucket Seat Replacement .
- Return the seat back to the original position.
Important: Ensure that you reset the C-clip (open end facing downwards) into the slotted shaft if the armrest C-clip becomes disengaged from the slotted shaft during the removal of the armrest.
