- Turn OFF the ignition.
- Disconnect the body control module (BCM) connector C2.
- Connect a 15 A fused jumper, at the BCM connector
C2, from the seat belt indicator supply voltage circuit to B+.
- Turn ON the ignition, with the engine OFF.
Does the seat belt indicator stay ON continuously?

- Make sure that the driver seat belt
is unbuckled.
- Connect a test lamp between the driver
seat belt switch signal circuit and B+. Refer to

- Leave the 15 A fused jumper
connected .
- Connect a test lamp, at the instrument
cluster connector C1, from the seat belt indicator control circuit of the

- Test for a poor connection at the
instrument cluster connector C1. Refer to

- If the connection is OK, replace
the IPC. Refer to

Does the resistance measure less than the specified value?
