Under normal use, the
battery in the transmitter should last approximately 2 years.
If the battery does not operate at the normal range in any location,
the battery is weak. If you have to get close to the vehicle before the transmitter
works, change the battery. The required remote control door lock transmitter
battery is Lithium CR 2032.
Disassembly Procedure
- Disassemble the transmitter by inserting a dime or flat-bladed
tool into the slot on the side of the transmitter. Twist in order to separate
the halves.
- Gently pry the battery out of the transmitter. Do not use the
metal flanges in order to pop out the battery.
- Remove the battery from the transmitter.
Assembly Procedure
- Install the battery into the transmitter.
- Reassemble the transmitter.
- Inspect the transmitter halves. Ensure that the transmitter halves
are snapped together in order to prevent water intrusion.
- Synchronize the transmitter as needed. Refer to
