Removal Procedure
- Remove the sliding door center roller bracket (body side). Refer
to
Rear Side Door Center Track Cover Replacement
.
- Remove the rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to
Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement
in Interior
Trim.
- Remove the sliding door
center track screws.
- Remove the sliding door center track screw or stud from the front
of the track inside the vehicle.
- Remove the sliding door center track from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the sliding door center track to the vehicle.
Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners
must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring
replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant
are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or
corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified.
These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage
the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when
installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.
- Install the sliding
door center track screw or stud to the front of the track inside the vehicle.
Tighten
Tighten the sliding door center track screw or stud to 10 N·m
(89 lb in).
- Install the sliding door center track screws.
Tighten
Tighten the sliding door center track screws to 10 N·m
(89 lb in).
- Install the rear quarter lower trim panel. Refer to
Rear Quarter Lower Trim Panel Replacement
in Interior
Trim.
- Install the sliding door center track bracket. Refer to
Rear Side Door Center Track Cover Replacement
.
- Lubricate the front radius
of the center track (extended wheelbase only). Refer to
Fluid and Lubricant Recommendations
in General Information.
