  1. Using a test light, backprobe between the affected seat adjuster motor assembly connector C1 terminal A and ground.
  2. Set and hold the rear height adjuster switch to down for the affected seat.

Is the test light on?

  1. Using a test light, backprobe between the affected seat adjuster motor assembly connector C2 terminal B and ground.
  2. Set and hold the rear height adjuster switch to up for the affected seat.

Is the test light on?

  1. Using a test light, backprobe between the affected seat adjuster motor assembly connector C2 terminal A and terminal B.
  2. While observing the test light, perform the following:
  3. • Set and hold the rear height adjuster switch to up and then release for the affected seat.
    • Set and hold the rear height adjuster switch to down and then release for the affected seat.

Does the test light illuminate in both directions?

  2. Set and hold the rear height adjuster switch to up for the affected seat.

  1. Using a test light, backprobe between the affected seat adjuster motor assembly connector C3 terminal A and terminal B.
  2. While observing the test light, perform the following:
  3. • Set and hold the rear height adjuster switch to up and then release for the affected seat.
    • Set and hold the rear height adjuster switch to down and then release for the affected seat.

Does the test light illuminate in both directions?
