The video entertainment system augments the in-dash audio system with video and four additional headphone/earphone jacks for private listing enjoyment.

The vehicle's regular in-dash audio system consists of the AM-FM stereo with cassette tape player, and the remote compact disc player. Without the video entertainment system option, audio from the in-dash system would only be available through the front and rear speakers, and the two headphone jacks in the Rear Seat Audio (RSA).
The video entertainment system can support up to six headphones or earphones. The two audio control for the second and third row seats each have two headphone jacks. The Rear Seat Audio (RSA) also has two jacks. Video sound cannot be heard through these jacks. Any stereo headphone or earphone with and 1/8 inch male plug may be used.
Aside from the headphones, audio can be heard through the rear speakers only when:
Replacement of the headliner requires a modification to the new replacement part. The new headliner will include a template which identifies the correct cut-out location. If it is necessary to replace the headliner, follow the existing headliner replacement procedure upon removal of the video entertainment system overhead console.
