The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
A technician may find repeat rear blower module concerns. The rear fan will work on high speed only.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Tac has found under certain cirmcumstances that the wiring under the passenger front seat (footwell area) near the door sill can become chaffed. The circuit for the auxiliary rear fan speed is routed through this area. Have technician inspect circuit 2613
(white wire) closely in this area for concerns. If the technician cannot locate a wiring concern restring circuit 2613 from the rear Blower Motor Control Module-Auxiliary (pin-3) to connector C204 (A6) located in the lower right-hand A-pillar and continue to
test.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
