Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1675188 Size: SH
  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
  2. Loosen the engine mount strut to engine mount strut bracket through bolt (1) and nut (3).
  3. Remove the engine mount strut bracket through bolt nut (3).
  4. Remove the engine harness clip (2) from the through bolt.

  5. Loosen and remove the engine mount strut to engine mount strut bracket through bolt (1) and nut (2).

    6. Object Number: 1675028 Size: SH
  6. Remove the engine mount strut to engine mount strut bracket through bolt (2).
  7. Remove the engine mount strut (1).
  8. Inspect the rubber in the engine mount strut for the following conditions:
    9. • Hardness
    • Splitting
    • Cracking

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1675028 Size: SH
  1. Install the engine mount strut (1).
  2. Install the engine mount strut to engine mount strut bracket through bolt (2).

    3. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1675030 Size: SH
  3. Install and tighten the engine mount strut to engine mount strut bracket through bolt (1) and nut (2). Tighten the bolt/nut to 48 N·m (36 lb ft) .

    4. Object Number: 1675188 Size: SH
  4. Install the engine harness clip (2) to the through bolt.
  5. Install the engine mount strut bracket through bolt nut (3).
  6. Tighten the engine mount strut to engine mount strut bracket through bolt (1) and nut (3). Tighten the bolt/nut to 48 N·m (36 lb ft) .
  7. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
