Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 318106  Size: SH
  1. Remove the I/P trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.

  2. Object Number: 318109  Size: SH
  3. Remove the auxiliary blower motor switch retaining screws.
  4. Pull straight out from the I/P in order to remove the auxiliary blower motor switch.

  5. Object Number: 318110  Size: SH
  6. Disconnect the electrical connectors from the blower motor switch.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 318110  Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connectors to the blower motor switch.
  2. Push in on the blower motor switch in order to install the blower motor switch.

  3. Object Number: 318109  Size: SH

    Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  4. Install the auxiliary blower motor switch retaining screws.
  5. Tighten
    Tighten the screws to 2.5 N·m (22 lb in).

  6. Install the I/P trim plate. Refer to Instrument Panel Accessory Trim Plate Replacement in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
