The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
On rare occasions, a SES light may be experienced due to a P060E DTC. Additionally, the SI diagnostics may have led to ECM replacement without repairing the concern.
Recommendation/Instructions:
If this concern is experienced, inspect the following areas before replacing the ECM per the SI diagnostics:
| • | Inspect for the ECM harness for potential shorts to ground on the AC Line about 6 inches from the 73 way ECM connector.

| • | Inspect all of the Throttle Position Sensor and Accelerator Pedal Position Sensor Circuits for potential shorts to ground, poor terminal tension, etc.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
