  1. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield bolts.
  2. Remove the exhaust manifold heat shield.

    3. Object Number: 825111 Size: SH
  3. Remove the block heater if equipped.

    4. Object Number: 1594322 Size: SH
  4. Remove the oxygen sensor.

    5. Object Number: 1594325 Size: SH
  5. Remove and discard the exhaust manifold to cylinder head retaining nuts.
  6. Remove the exhaust manifold.
  7. If the exhaust manifold is being replaced, transfer the following parts:
    8. • The exhaust manifold heat shield
    • The oxygen sensor
