Preliminary Procedure

Important: Drain only the fluid from the radiator surge tank.

1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Cooling System Draining and Filling .
2. Disconnect the surge tank sensor electrical connector.

Tip
Using J 38185 position radiator surge tank hose clamps aside and remove hoses from the radiator surge tank.

Procedure

Using J 38185 position radiator surge tank hose clamps aside and remove hoses from the radiator surge tank.
