Preliminary Procedures

1. Open the hood.
2. Lift upward on the connector positive assurance (CPA) to release the electrical harness from the bulb socket.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector.

Socket, Headlamp Bulb

Caution: Refer to Halogen Bulb Caution in the Preface section.

Tip
Turn the bulb socket counterclockwise in order to remove.

Preliminary Procedure

Open the hood in order to access the headlamp bulb accessory covers and headlamp bulbs.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Headlamp Bulb Assembly (Low)

Caution: Refer to Halogen Bulb Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

Disconnect the electrical connector and rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise to remove.

Open and support the hood in order to access the headlamp bulb accessory covers and headlamp bulbs.

Procedure
Rotate counterclockwise and remove.

Headlamp Bulb Assembly (Hi)

Caution: Refer to Halogen Bulb Caution in the Preface section.

Procedure

Rotate the bulb socket counterclockwise, disconnect the electrical connector and remove.
