Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2007 🢒 Solstice 🢒 Body Hardware and Trim 🢒 Instrument Panel and Console Trim 🢒 Clutch Pedal Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the instrument panel left closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side.

    2. Object Number: 1607172 Size: SH
  2. Remove the clutch master cylinder push rod (1) from the clutch pedal arm integral stud.
  3. Remove the clutch pedal position switches. Refer to Clutch Pedal Position Switch Replacement.

    4. Object Number: 1607173 Size: SH
  4. Remove the clutch pedal bracket to cowl nut (5).
  5. Remove the clutch pedal bracket to cowl bolt (4).
  6. Remove the clutch pedal bracket to cowl nuts (2).
  7. Remove the clutch pedal assembly (1).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1607173 Size: SH
  1. Install the clutch pedal assembly (1).

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install the clutch pedal bracket to cowl nuts (2).

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the nuts to 10 N·m (89 in lb).

  3. Install the clutch pedal bracket to cowl bolt (4).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the clutch pedal bracket to cowl nut (5).

    5. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  5. Install the clutch pedal position switches. Refer to Clutch Pedal Position Switch Replacement.

    6. Object Number: 1607172 Size: SH
  6. Install the clutch master cylinder push rod (1) to the clutch pedal arm integral stud.
  7. Install the instrument panel left closeout/insulator panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Panel Replacement - Left Side.
