If equipped, remove window handle. Refer to Door Window Regulator Handle Replacement .

Front Side Door Trim Panel Screw, if equipped (Qty: 1)

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Tip

1. Several design variations exist, see illustration.
2. Cover may come with double sided tape to help secure it to door panel in addition to the snap fit. Tape should be inspected and replaced.

Tip

1. Use a J 38778 Door Trim Clip Remover to aid in the removal of the door trim panel.
2. Pull up on the front side door lock retainer to disengage the cable.
3. Disconnect electrical connector.

Procedures

1. Use a J 38778 Door Trim Clip Remover to aid in the removal of the door trim panel.
2. Pull up on front side door lock retainer to disengage cable.
3. Disconnect electrical connectors.
