This PI was superseded to add Important:DO NOT install if no lock switch is there from the factory. Please discard PIC4260.
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
This message is to inform the field that the Solstice, and Sky will now come with a Power door lock switch on the door panel. This was a running change for both vehicles. Look below for the VIN break points.
The following are the VIN breakpoints for the power door lock switches:

Important: If your vehicle did NOT come with power door locks it is recommended that you do NOT try to upfit a vehicle to have power door locks. The wiring is completely missing from the body harness.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
