This bulletin announces the end of the parts restriction and what the dealer should do if they need to order this part. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 03-08-44-022D (Section 08 - Body and Accessories).
Effective August 1, 2007, the part restriction for service replacement XM receivers (DDR) was canceled. Dealers are no longer required to contact GM TAC to order a replacement module.
Dealers needing a replacement DDR will need to record the radio ID and P/N from the module. The dealer will then order the replacement DDR from an authorized exchange center, as they would a radio or IPC.
