Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 1717067  Size: SH
  1. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  3. Remove the right engine mount upper nut.
  4. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.

  6. Remove the right engine mount lower nut.

  7. Object Number: 1717062  Size: SH
  8. Remove the left engine mount lower nut.

  9. Object Number: 1717067  Size: SH
  10. Remove the right brake hose bracket bolt.
  11. Remove the right brake line clip at the crossmember.
  12. Position an adjustable jack below the oil pan. Place a block of wood between the oil pan and the jack.
  13. Raise the engine using the adjustable jack until the engine mount can be removed.
  14. Remove the right engine mount.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1717067  Size: SH
  1. Install the right engine mount.
  2. Lower the engine using the adjustable jack until the engine is resting on the mount.
  3. Remove the adjustable jack from below the oil pan.
  4. Install the right brake line clip at the crossmember.
  5. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  6. Install the right brake hose bracket bolt and tighten to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  7. Object Number: 1717062  Size: SH
  8. Install the left engine mount lower nut and tighten to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).

  9. Object Number: 1717066  Size: SH
  10. Install the right engine mount lower nut and tighten to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).
  11. Lower the vehicle.

  12. Object Number: 1717067  Size: SH
  13. Install the right engine mount upper nut and tighten to 55 N·m (41 lb ft).
  14. Install the tire and wheel. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  15. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement.
