The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

You may have a customer comment that the convertible top appears to be loose/sagging in the closed position. This condition can be caused by a mis-adjusted upstop bumper.

Please adjust the upstop bumper (Document ID #1588133) counter clockwise in 1/4 turn intervals. Make sure that every time you move the upstop bumper adjuster that you fully close and lock the convertible top into place to check for adjustment. You should see a noticeable tightness in the convertible top fabric as you adjust the upstop screw counter clockwise.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
