REAR CAM COVER OIL LEAK IMPROVED SEAL AND COVER

1982-84 J 2000 AND SUNBIRD MODELS WITH 2.0L L4 ENGINES (L46 VIN CODE G, LQ5 VIN CODE P)

An improved seal for the rear cam cover, kit P/N 10054590, is available to replace the RTV sealant and cover plate. The surface should be thoroughly cleaned and checked for flush plugs in the sealing area before installing the new cover, P/N 14090972, and gasket, P/N 14090974.

Torque bolts to 8-14Nm (6-10 Lb. Ft. ).

Use existing labor operation number and labor time.
