CLUTCH PEDAL FREE-PLAY ADJUSTMENT

1984 "J" AND EARLY 1985 "N" MODELS ARE EQUIPPED WITH A CABLE CONTROLLED CLUTCH MECHANISM. CLUTCH PEDAL FREE-PLAY ADJUSTMENT IS REQUIRED EVERY 5,000 MILES OR LESS. THE CLUTCH ADJUSTMENT IS PERFORMED BY SIMPLY LIFTING UP ON THE CLUTCH PEDAL. 1985 "J" MODELS ARE EQUIPPED WITH A HYDRAULIC CLUTCH AND DO NOT REQUIRE A FREE-PLAY ADJUSTMENT. THE HYDRAULIC CLUTCH IS ALSO SCHEDULED FOR MID-YEAR PRODUCTION OF THE 1985 "N".
