A/C BELT NOISE/ POOR PERFORMANCE CHECK BRACKET BOLT

If a vehicle is brought to the dealership with an A/C related customer comment (such as accessory belt noise or poor A/C performance) , check for loose or missing A/C compressor bracket bolts, and correct belt tension. . It is recommended that an adhesive material (such as GM6193-M) be applied to the threads of the new bolts and any loose bolts being reinstalled. Torque all bolts to Service Manual specifications.
