DRIVE AXLE TRI-POT SEAL CLAMP PART NUMBERS

1986 4-CYLINDER NON TURBO SUNBIRD VEHICLES

"Please discard bulletin 86-4-1, dated 10/86 due to updated information included in this bulletin."

For the 1986 model year, a limited quantity of 4-cylinder, non turbo Sunbird vehicles with both automatic and manual transaxles have been built using a low-profile, earless Tri-Pot seal retaining clamp on the left-hand inboard axle joint.

These assemblies may be serviced with Seal Service Kit Tri-Pot 7845350 (which contains standard clamp 7843226) using tool J 35910 Drive Axle Seal Clamp Pliers (refer to Figure 1).
