1987 SUNBIRD MODELS EQUIPPED WITH OHC 4 ENGINE (VIN CODE K) WITHOUT A/C AND WITHOUT CRUISE CONTROL

Customer vehicles that exhibit a higher than normal idle RPM and have no A/C or cruise control should be checked for a vacuum leak at the intake manifold vacuum fitting.

Vehicles between the following VINS:

KlH7593965 to KlH7602202

have an incorrect vacuum cap that should be replaced by P/N 343350, which is available from GMSPO.
