TURBO INDUCTION TUBE CONTACT WITH HOOD BLANKET

Some 1987 Sunbird turbo vehicles may experience turbo induction tube contact with the inner hood surface. The tube's surface finish will indicate contact by paint discolouration or finish abrasion. A tube with P/N 10106030 is available from General Motors Service Parts which will eliminate this hood contact problem.

When installing the tube, the connecting hoses should be free from any foreign material and be clamped securely to provide a good seal.
