INSTRUMENT CLUSTER EXCHANGE REPAIR PROGRAM - 1987 MODELS

VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1987 MODELS

The Instrument Cluster Exchange/Repair Program for digital and quartz electric speedometers and Driver Information Centre (D.I.C.) modules has been expanded to include the 1987 models. This program provides repaired component assemblies in exchange for inoperative ones at no charge during the new vehicle warranty period. For out of warranty applications, the program offers these same assemblies at a cost substantially be low new replacement units.

When a replacement assembly is required for a 1987 model, the following chart should be referred to. Please pay special attention to those clusters where only the speedometer assembly is exchangeable.

The remaining portions of the cluster such as fuel gauge, temperature gauge, etc., are replaceable through the normal parts and warranty channels.
