Subject: INCREASED OIL CONSUMPTION/ROUGH IDLE (INSTALL NEW P.C.V. HOSE)

Models Affected: 1992 SUNBIRD MODELS WITH 2.0L ENGINE

Condition:

---------- Some owners of 1992 Sunbird models with 2.0L engines may comment of less-than-acceptable engine oil consumption and/or a warm engine idle surge.

Cause:

------ The P.C.V. hose may collapse under vacuum allowing oil to be drawn into the intake manifold through the breather pipe.

Correction: Install a new P.C.V. hose. Part # 93211177. -----------
