Effective on September 8, 1986, WDDGM will be offering remanufactured gasoline and diesel engines that were originally manufactured for General Motors by Oldsmobile Division in Lansing, Michigan. These remanufactured gasoline engines will be shipped direct from the supplier, SRC Corp. in Springfield, Missouri and can be ordered in truckload quantities. Remanufactured diesel engines will continue to be shipped from your local P.D.C. for about six months unless ordered as part of a truckload quantity, in which case it will be shipped from SRC Corporation.
Remanufactured gasoline and diesel engines can be ordered in truckload quantities at a discount along with a parts return reserve and an advertising allowance. Also, for the first time, cores that are returned in truckload quantities will result in a cash bonus paid to you for additional profit. General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
