Tools Required

J 42137 Lock Plate Compressor

1. Install the upper bearing spacer (4).
2. Install the upper bearing spring (3).
3. Lubricate the turn signal cancel cam (2) with lithium grease GM P/N 1051344 or equivalent.
4. Install the turn signal cancel cam (2).
5. Install the shaft lock (1).



6. Install the bearing retainer (1) using J 42137 .
7. Install the wave washer.
8. Install the SIR coil assembly. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Steering Wheel Module Coil Assemble - Off Vehicle .
