Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 1999 🢒 Sunfire 🢒 Transmission/Transaxle 🢒 Automatic Transaxle - 3T40 🢒 1-2 Accumulator Assemble

    Object Number: 20720 Size: SH
  1. Remove the 1-2 accumulator piston seal (420) from the 1-2 accumulator piston (421).

    2. Object Number: 20720 Size: SH

    Important: Lubricate the new seal with TRANSJEL™ or equivalent in order to ease further installation.

  2. Install a new 1-2 accumulator piston seal (420) onto the 1-2 accumulator piston (421).

    3. Object Number: 20721 Size: SH
  3. Slide the 1-2 accumulator piston pin (422) into the case cover (401) with the chamfered end away from the case cover (401).
  4. Slide the 1-2 accumulator piston (421) into the case cover (401) with the chamfered end away from the case cover (401).
  5. Use TRANSJEL™ or equivalent in order to hold the 1-2 accumulator piston (421) to the case cover.
