Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 752723 Size: SH
  1. Remove the fuel rail assembly. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement .
  2. Remove the fuel injector retaining clip (2).

    3. Important: Inspect the fuel injector in order to determine if the upper O-ring was also removed. If the upper O-ring is not removed, remove the O-ring from the fuel rail assembly.

  3. Remove the fuel injector (4).

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 752723 Size: SH

    Important: When ordering new fuel injectors, Order the correct fuel injector for the application.

  1. Lubricate the new fuel injector O-ring seals (3, 5) with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the fuel injector upper O-ring (3).
  3. Install the fuel injector lower O-ring (5).
  4. Install the fuel injector (4) to the fuel rail assembly.
  5. Install the fuel injector retaining clip (2).
  6. Install the fuel rail assembly. Refer to Fuel Injection Fuel Rail Assembly Replacement .
