- Depress and hold the readjustment tab.
- Pull the cable conduit out until the slider mechanism hits the
stop.
- Release the button.
- Position a 17 mm socket and torque wrench onto the throttle
body pulley cam assembly.
Important: Audible clicks will be heard during this step.
- Rotate the torque wrench to the full wide open throttle position and
apply 7-10 N·m (62-69 lb in) torque.
- Release the applied pressure on the torque wrench.
- Remove the torque wrench and socket
- Check that the cable moves freely. The cable may appear to function
properly with the engine stopped and cold. Inspect the engine after the engine
is hot.
- Road test the vehicle.
