Makes 🢒 Pontiac 🢒 2001 🢒 Sunfire 🢒 Transmission/Transaxle 🢒 Automatic Transaxle - 3T40 🢒 Low/Reverse Pipe, Weir and Retainers Disassemble

    Object Number: 15723 Size: SH
  1. Remove the retainer bolt (142) from the governor oil pipe retainer (143).
  2. Remove the following parts:
    3. • The pipe retainer (143)
    • The oil weir retainer (146)
    • The oil weir (147)

  3. Remove the retainer bolt (142) from the low and reverse oil pipe retainer (143).
  4. Remove the low and reverse oil pipe (139).
  5. Remove the oil seal (145). The seal may be on the oil pipe, or the seal may have remained in the case.
  6. Remove the oil seal backup washer (144). The washer may be on the oil pipe, or the washer may have remained in the case.

    7. Object Number: 15725 Size: SH
  7. Remove one bolt (712) from the oil dip stick stop and oil filter bracket (711).
  8. Remove the oil dip stick stop and oil filter bracket (711).
  9. Remove the other bolt (712) from the parking lock bracket (710).
  10. Remove the parking lock bracket (710).
