For 1990-2009 cars only
- Visually inspect the drum brake system hold-down springs (22) and pins (10) for the following:
- Visually inspect the return springs (26, 27), the return/adjuster actuator springs (4, 25), and the park brake lever return spring (20) for the following:
- If any of the conditions listed were found, the drum brake system hardware requires replacement.
