Tools Required

    • J 25034-C Pulley Remover
    • J 25033-C Pulley Installer

Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the drive belt from the power steering pump. Refer to the following procedures Drive Belt Replacement in Engine Mechanical-2.2L (LN2) or Drive Belt Replacement in Engine Mechanical-2.2L (L61) or Drive Belt Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 2.4L (LD9).
  2. Remove the power steering pump from the engine. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .

    3. Object Number: 649303 Size: SH
  3. Remove the pulley from the power steering pump using the J 25034-C .

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 643361 Size: SH
  1. Install the pulley to the power steering pump using the J 25033-C .

    2. Ensure that the face of the pulley is flush with the pump drive shaft.

  2. Install the power steering pump to the engine. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .
  3. Install the drive belt on the power steering pump. Refer to the following procedures Drive Belt Replacement Engine Mechanical - 2.2L (LN2) or Drive Belt Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 2.2L (L61) or Drive Belt Replacement in Engine Mechanical - 2.4L (LD9).
  4. Fill the power steering pump with power steering fluid. Refer to Checking and Adding Power Steering Fluid .
  5. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
