2.2L LN2 Rough Run or Idle Possible P0300, P0301 After Engine or Cylinder Head Replacement

When servicing the vehicle with the VIN you entered, the following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms.

Runs rough and/or poor idle quality. Possible misfire DTCs P0300 and/or P0301. Conditions occur after engine replacement or cylinder head removal ( i.e. all fuel injectors have been disconnected).

Verify the #1 and #2 fuel injector connectors are not crossed. Use the applicable service information and verify each injector has the right connector using the color code for each injector circuit. It is easy to cross the #1 and #2 injector circuits.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed. If these steps do not resolve the condition, please contact GM TAC for further diagnostic assistance. This diagnostic approach was developed for the vehicle with the VIN you entered and should not be automatically be used for other vehicles with similar symptoms.
