The Reverse Input clutch plate (waved) appears dark and looks as if it were overheated at one time on the inner and outer edges.
The Forward and Reverse clutch waved steel clutch plates have changed in appearance only, due to a change in the manufacturing process. The functionality of the waved steel clutch is no different. These waved clutch plates will be used for both production and service.
