The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
If the valve rotators are incorrectly placed on the exhaust valves following cylinder head disassembly and reassembly, a crank no start due to low/no compression may be noted.
Recommendation/Instructions:
If this concern is encountered, make sure that the valve rotators are installed on the intake valves as mentioned in Step 3 of SI Document ID # 646100.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
