Info - Availability of New Micro 64 Electrical Terminals for Wiring Repairs

This bulletin is being revised to add the Oldsmobile Alero to the models affected. Please discard Corporate Bulletin Number 01-08-45-006 (Section 08 - Body and Accessories).

The models listed above use a new Micro 64 wiring connection system at several components in the vehicle. The previous essential tool, J 38125 Terminal Repair Kit, does not currently have the Micro 64 terminal removal pick or terminals to properly service these connections. A future update to your J 38125 kit will include the proper terminals, terminal pick and a new crimping tool.

This kit contains 10 pre-terminated wire leads, 10 splice insulators and one terminal removal tool.
